The Spot CORE AI is a complete development environment for running computationally intensive tasks like machine learning on Spot. This payload connects directly to the payload port for power and networking and comes with an Ubuntu 18.04 operating system with our SDK pre-loaded so you can get up and running as fast as possible. Unlike the computers inside Spot, this system is open to developer adjustments. If you have special system requirements, you can format the disk and install your own operating system.
We’ve outfitted the CORE AI with every port you need for rapid development:

- 2x USB3 Type A
- 2x USB3 Type C
- Regulated power: 12V 4A, 24V 2.3A, 5V 8A
- RS232 Serial
- MiniPCIe (internal, occupied with LTE modem in some configurations)
