About the book →Kärcher is the world's largest cleaning equipment manufacturer, founded in Germany in 1935. The KIRA line brings autonomous robotics to Kärcher's industrial-grade scrubbers and vacuums, and RobotLAB sells, installs, trains, and services KIRA across the United States.
Founded in 1935 by Alfred Kärcher in Stuttgart, Germany, Kärcher is the global leader in cleaning equipment with operations in more than 80 countries. The KIRA autonomous line, including the B 50, B 200, and CV 50, applies 90 years of cleaning engineering to robotics: roller and cylindrical brush technology, real-world tank and battery sizing, IEC 63327 safety certification for public access, and VDA 5050 communication for integration into managed cleaning programs. RobotLAB deploys Kärcher KIRA in warehouses, hospitals, hotels, schools, airports, and large public facilities.

Right-size autonomous floor scrubber for medium to large hard floors; walk-behind footprint, cylindrical brush, public-area safety certified
Compact autonomous robotic vacuum for carpet and hard floors, IEC 63327 certified for public spaces, swappable 36V batteries
Kärcher has been building professional cleaning equipment since 1935. The KIRA line is what you get when a manufacturer with that depth of cleaning IP, brush systems, tank engineering, and real-world durability, applies it to robotics. The result is a robot that handles industrial textures, real soil loads, and full shifts rather than a tech demo.
All three KIRA SKUs are safety certified for autonomous operation in public spaces. KIRA CV 50 carries IEC 63327, the international standard for autonomous floor treatment in public-access environments. That matters when you are running a robot in a hospital lobby, school hallway, or airport concourse, not just an empty warehouse at night.
KIRA B 50 and B 200 support an optional docking station that handles auto refill, auto drain, and auto charge. The robot returns to the dock, swaps water, dumps recovery, recharges, and starts the next route, no human intervention between shifts. Pair multiple docks across a facility to minimize travel time.
“Kärcher engineers a serious machine. The KIRA line means we can offer customers an autonomous cleaning robot from a brand they already trust on the manual side.”

Real questions facility managers ask before bringing KIRA into their cleaning program.
Yes. RobotLAB is the authorized integration and service partner for Kärcher KIRA in the United States. We handle pre-sale assessment, delivery, on-site setup, staff training, ongoing service, and warranty coordination on every KIRA we deploy.
The B 200 is for very large open and textured floors: warehouses, manufacturing, airport terminals, exhibition halls, big-box retail. The B 50 is for medium to large hard floors: warehouse offices, healthcare corridors, school halls, mid-format retail. The CV 50 is for mixed-floor public environments with carpet: offices, hotel corridors, classrooms, hospital admin floors, libraries. Most large RobotLAB customers run a combination.
The docking station provides automatic fresh water refill, automatic waste water drain (to an approved sanitary drain), and automatic battery charging. Site requirements are a 1/2 inch water supply line, an approved floor-level drain, and a 110-240V power feed. RobotLAB scopes the docking-station installation during the site survey. Multiple docks can be deployed across a facility to minimize travel time between resource exchanges.
Yes. The CV 50 is built for autonomous operation in public-access environments and carries IEC 63327 certification specifically for that. It is designed to run during occupied hours in hotel corridors, hospital admin floors, office foyers, and similar spaces. For noise-sensitive areas like patient rooms or classrooms in session, schedule it during off-peak windows.
The KIRA Robots app is Kärcher's cloud control system for the KIRA line. It is used to teach routes, define no-go zones, schedule cleans, and review cleaning reports. You do not need it for daily operation, the touch display on the machine handles that, but for facility managers, the app and the cleaning reports are what give you audit-ready proof of clean for inspection, accreditation, and brand-standard cycles.
B 50 and B 200 ship with a VDA 5050 communication interface, the standard for integration with fleet management systems used in managed cleaning programs. If you already run a fleet manager for AMRs or other autonomous equipment, the KIRA scrubbers can be integrated. RobotLAB scopes this during deployment.
RobotLAB offers KIRA on purchase, lease, and Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) terms. RaaS is a monthly subscription that bundles the hardware, deployment, training, service, and consumables, often the right structure when you want predictable opex and full uptime guarantees. Request a quote and a specialist will walk you through the options the same business day.
KIRA lead time varies by SKU, configuration (docking station, brush head choice), and current Kärcher production. Once you have selected a configuration, a RobotLAB specialist gives you a current quoted lead time. Plan on a few weeks for stocked configurations and longer for highly customized builds.
