The Pudu D9 is Pudu Robotics' first full-sized bipedal humanoid robot, standing 170 cm (5'7") tall and weighing 65 kg. It is built for the messy realities of human environments: 42 degrees of freedom (6 per leg, 7 per arm) let it walk at up to 2 m/s, climb stairs and slopes, and reach, lift, and manipulate objects with dual 7-DoF arms rated to more than 20 kg of payload (10 kg per arm). Each arm ends in Pudu's DH11 dexterous hand, an 11-DoF gripper with 12 tactile-sensing regions and over 1,000 tactile pixels for delicate, contact-aware grasping. RobotLAB resells, leases, and RaaS-subscribes the D9, and handles deployment, training, and service so your team doesn't have to integrate a humanoid from scratch.
Under the shell, the D9 pairs RGB and RGB-D cameras, tactile sensors, and an IMU with 275 TOPS of onboard compute, supporting real-time 3D semantic mapping, visual navigation, and AI-driven decision-making. A 15 Ah (0.72 kWh) battery powers a platform that Pudu positions for object manipulation and customer engagement across service and industrial settings. Because it is a true full-size bipedal humanoid rather than a tabletop or wheeled service robot, the D9 sits in a very different class from RobotLAB's NAO and Pepper catalog and competes directly with platforms like the Unitree G1 and H2.
RobotLAB is America's largest commercial robotics integrator. We don't manufacture the D9 — we source it, price it to your deployment (purchase, lease, or Robots-as-a-Service), and stand up the program end to end: site assessment, onboarding, operator training, and ongoing support. The D9 is an early-stage, continuously iterating platform, so we scope each engagement carefully and set expectations on what ships today versus what is on Pudu's roadmap. Call 1-87-RobotLAB to talk through whether a full-size humanoid fits your use case.
As a full-size bipedal humanoid with open sensing and 275 TOPS of compute, the D9 is a teaching and research platform for bipedal locomotion, whole-body control, motion planning, manipulation, and human-robot interaction. RobotLAB supplies it to higher-ed labs and innovation centers that need a real human-scale robot to move beyond simulation and small tabletop platforms.
Pudu positions the D9 for customer-facing service in hotels, restaurants, and retail-adjacent environments where a human-scale presence handles greeting, guidance, and light object handling. RobotLAB scopes these as pilots, given the platform's early commercial stage, and pairs the deployment with training and on-site support.
With dual arms rated above 20 kg payload, DH11 dexterous hands, and the ability to navigate stairs and slopes at up to 2 m/s, the D9 targets pick-and-place, material handling, and repetitive manipulation work designed for human spaces. RobotLAB helps evaluate fit against fixed automation before committing to a humanoid form factor.
Pudu lists healthcare among the D9's intended service sectors. RobotLAB works with facilities exploring humanoid assistance for fetch-and-carry, engagement, and support tasks, treating these as research-grade pilots rather than turnkey production deployments while the platform matures.
Same-day response. We handle delivery, on-site setup, staff training, and ongoing service nationwide.
RobotLAB lists the D9 as price on request. Because it is a full-size humanoid sold for purchase, lease, or Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS), and because tariffs and configuration affect the total, we quote each deployment individually. Call 1-87-RobotLAB for current pricing and lead times.
It is a true bipedal humanoid. Pudu rates it to walk at up to 2 m/s on flat ground and to navigate stairs and slopes. Note this differs from some of Pudu's wheeled service robots — the D9 is their first full-sized walking humanoid.
NAO is a 58 cm tabletop humanoid and Pepper is a wheeled, waist-up service robot. The D9 is a 170 cm full-size bipedal humanoid with dual 20 kg-payload arms and dexterous hands — a fundamentally different class meant for human-scale manipulation and locomotion. Call 1-87-RobotLAB if you're deciding between platforms.
Pudu describes the D9 as an early-stage platform under continuous iteration, and notes some example features are not yet available to customers. RobotLAB treats most D9 engagements as pilots or research deployments and will tell you candidly what ships today versus what's on the roadmap. Call 1-87-RobotLAB to scope a realistic pilot.
Single units are appropriate for research and teaching labs. RobotLAB sells, leases, and RaaS-subscribes the D9 at any quantity and provides onboarding and operator training. Call 1-87-RobotLAB to discuss a single-unit research configuration.
The D9 (170 cm, 65 kg, 42 DOF, 20+ kg payload) sits between the smaller Unitree G1 (1.32 m, ~35 kg) and the taller Unitree H2 EDU (1.82 m, ~70 kg). The right choice depends on your reach, payload, compute, and budget needs. RobotLAB carries all three — call 1-87-RobotLAB for a side-by-side recommendation.
Yes. As a full-service integrator, RobotLAB manages deployment, operator training, and ongoing support for the D9, and offers purchase, lease, and RaaS options. Call 1-87-RobotLAB to discuss a managed program.
