Storytelling is an ancient tradition that has the ability to stimulate and cultivate creativity and imagination, along with developing concentration and focus, social skills, emotional intelligence, and communication skills. Storytelling also builds bonds between the teller and the audience. When we couple the storytelling concept along with their innate nature, it is clear to understand how utilizing both Pepper and NAO as a storyteller is an essential role for these social robots.

FunDaLogic Robotics creates original stories for elementary-age students one set is to choose your ending adventure story. After selecting an ending Pepper engages the students with images and sound effects while still leaving plenty of room for the listener's imagination.

Pepper: The room was suddenly filled with a sudden burst of bright purple light blinding all of us for the first few moments. All aboard, who's coming aboard? The announcement rang over the speakers. The three of us stood rubbing our eyes from the great flash. I looked around and soon noticed that we were standing on this side of a ship.

FunDaLogic offers original series with unforgettable characters and plenty of educational lessons to learn as they navigate through the story like Sammy and Anna are two snail friends that explore the world around them.

Pepper: Sammy decided to go on a journey. Although he loves the pretty flower garden in the town where he lived, he had always wanted to travel and see other things. He wanted to visit the mountains nearby that he had only heard about. Meeting with his other snail friend Anna, Sammy asked her if she would like to accompany him on his journey. Anna was a little unsure at first, because it was so far, especially for snails he moved so slow, but Sammy finally convinced her.

People of all ages enjoy interacting with social robots. So, we've created calming guided imagery stories to engage listeners as well like this one about being at the ocean.

Pepper: The breeze catches in the grass and then makes a soft wrestling noise. We begin to walk down the dunes, even incredibly slow, the sand sinks under your feet.
