About Matt

Matt Ortolano is a results-driven global sales executive born and raised in Chicago, known for his expertise in sales metrics, onboarding and training, and customer success. With a solid track record in building sales strategies and achieving multimillion-dollar revenue gains, Matt excels in creating and developing distribution channels, fostering organizational growth, and leading cross-functional teams.

In his most recent role as Channel Development Director at Gausium Robotics he oversaw and managed large regional and global distributors. Prior to that Matt was a National Account Manager at ICE Cobotics, where he helped to introduce a subscription delivery model for cleaning automation.

As the branch president of RobotLab Chicago NW, Matt brings years of experience not only selling but deploying and managing fleets of robotics. Matt’s experience working with customers like national service contractors, educational institutions, and environments like hospitality and corporate campuses will be a huge value to the growth of RobotLab in Chicago and surrounding area. His ability to bridge the gap between people and robotics will help to strengthen the Midwest market. He understands the importance to show the value that technology can have supporting people with a variety of automated tasks.

Matt holds a BA in Communications and an Entrepreneurship certificate from the University of Iowa. In his spare time, he likes to travel and spend time with his wife and two kids whether it be enjoying time on the lake or exploring Chicago.
