What is Darwin OP3?

The Robotis OP3 is the latest and most advanced ROBOTIS humanoid robot platform that combines advanced computational power, sophisticated sensors, high payload capacity, and dynamic motion ability to enable many exciting research and education activities.

OP3 is loaded with Intel NUC with i3 Processor that supports 64-bit OS and Bluetooth 4.1. OP3 uses XM-430 actuators and has improved torque along with current based control. OP3 supports HDMI and Display Port (DP), it has 4 LEDs, a 128GB hard drive for storage and a 1920x1080 camera.
The OP3 robot doesn’t come with skin, however, we provide 3D modeling files to allow users to 3d print default or customized skins.
Robotis OP3 Darwin is fully-programmable using C++ and ROS and it comes with the complete SDK documentation. DARwIn OP2 is the new version of DARwIn-OP.
