The Dobot Robot Vision Kit is a machine-vision accessory package that bolts onto a Dobot Magician (or Dobot M1) robotic arm and turns it into a vision-guided automation workstation. Rather than blindly repeating a fixed path, the arm can now "see" parts on the worktable and react — locating an object, reading its color, measuring it, or sorting it into the right bin. RobotLAB positions this configuration for higher-education and college lab settings, where students learn how an industrial vision system integrates with robotic motion. In the box you get the hardware that an embedded-vision lab needs: a fixed baseboard to mount the camera and arm in a repeatable frame, an industrial camera with lens and mounting bracket, an adjustable camera lighting source, a black-and-white calibration board, a power adapter, and a tool package. The accompanying demo project covers the two core skills of vision-guided robotics — camera-to-robot calibration and color-based sorting — and source code is provided so students can read, modify, and extend the software rather than treat it as a black box. The kit supports the GigE Vision and USB3 Vision industrial-camera standards, and Dobot's Vision Studio environment offers drag-and-drop, graphical configuration of recognition, measurement, alignment, and image-processing pipelines.
